וְאֶת־הָעָ֨ם אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֜הּ הוֹצִ֗יא וַיָּ֨שַׂר בַּמְּגֵרָ֜ה וּבַחֲרִיצֵ֤י הַבַּרְזֶל֙ וּבַמְּגֵר֔וֹת וְכֵן֙ יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה דָוִ֔יד לְכֹ֖ל עָרֵ֣י בְנֵי־עַמּ֑וֹן וַיָּ֧שָׁב דָּוִ֛יד וְכָל־הָעָ֖ם יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ (פ)
Und er brachte die Leute hervor, die darin waren, und schnitt sie mit Sägen und Eggen aus Eisen und mit Äxten. Und so tat David allen Städten der Kinder Ammon. Und David und das ganze Volk kehrten nach Jerusalem zurück.
II Samuel
He took out the people that were in it. He put them in saw-like utensils, iron threshing utensils and iron axes. He had them pass [through] the streets. He did this to all the cities of the people of Ammon. Dovid and all the people returned to Yerushaloyim.
